
Kay Gammill
Kay Gammill is a lifetime artist who derives inspiration from nature, color, and man-made designs. She has taken art lessons for the past 30 years from local artists in a variety of media, including oil, watercolor, acrylics, stained glass, charcoal and pencil drawing, oil pastels, Chinese ink and wash painting, and pottery. She attended the Maine Photographic Workshop in black and white photography in 2006. She also attended the National Gallery of Art Summer Workshops on the Renaissance and Impressionism in Washington, DC. She is in the process of opening her own studio and gallery in Shreveport to feature her paintings, photographs, and jewelry designs as well as those of other artists.
